Privacy policy

Your inputs are not our dataset.

LifeMeter is designed so calculator inputs and personalized results remain in the browser. This policy explains the narrower information collected for site delivery, analytics, subscriptions, subscriber access, correspondence, widgets, purchases, and commercial inquiries.

1. Scope and contact

This policy applies to LifeMeter.xyz and its pages, tools, embedded widgets, newsletters, and direct correspondence. WealthMeter has a parallel site-specific policy. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to michelle.martin@lifemeter.xyz.

2. Information we collect

Calculator and diagnostic inputs

Health, biomarker, wearable, demographic, financial, and performance values entered into LifeMeter calculators are processed in the browser for the requested result. They are not included in LifeMeter analytics events or stored in the subscriber database. A result you choose to download, copy, or share may contain information visible on the generated card.

Newsletter subscriptions and subscriber access

When you subscribe, we collect first name, last name, email address, site, form location, page path, consent scope, consent time, delivery status, and suppression status. Consent is site-specific. We use these records to send the requested news, analysis, evidence updates, and report releases, and to document and honor consent or withdrawal.

Some advanced tools and free resources use subscriber access. After an active subscription is verified, the site stores a signed first-party access cookie containing an opaque subscriber identifier, the site name, and issue and expiration times. It does not contain your name, email address, calculator inputs, or results. Returning subscribers may re-establish access by entering the email address already associated with an active subscription.

Usage and technical data

Hosting and analytics services may process IP address, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, referrer, page path, session information, and interaction events. LifeMeter records events such as calculator start or completion, result view, report-detail view, checkout-link click, newsletter signup, and share creation. These events exclude entered health or financial values, calculated results, names, and email addresses.

Correspondence, widgets, and commercial inquiries

If you contact LifeMeter, information in your message and delivery metadata is processed to respond and maintain an operational record. Approved embedded widgets record the distribution, site, widget, event type, publisher origin, and time; they do not record calculator inputs or results. Sponsorship inquiries may be recorded in a restricted workflow ledger for owner review.

3. How information is used

  • Deliver, secure, debug, and improve the site and its tools.
  • Measure aggregate use and understand which pages and features are useful.
  • Send communications you requested and maintain unsubscribe, complaint, bounce, and suppression records.
  • Respond to inquiries, prevent abuse, document consent, and meet legal or operational obligations.
  • Process purchases through the checkout provider selected by the user.

LifeMeter does not use calculator inputs to build advertising profiles, make eligibility decisions, or train a user-specific health model.

4. Service providers, cookies, and external destinations

LifeMeter uses service providers for hosting and security, analytics, restricted databases, email delivery, payment or storefront processing, and operational correspondence. These currently include Cloudflare, Google Analytics, AgentMail, and the checkout provider identified on a purchase page, such as Payhip or Stripe. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy documentation.

Google Analytics may set a first-party _ga cookie and process a client identifier, session statistics, approximate location, and device or browser information. The subscriber access cookie is used to recognize an active subscriber and expires after 180 days unless removed earlier through browser controls. External links, embedded resources, and checkout pages are governed by the destination’s policy.

5. Sale, advertising, and disclosure

LifeMeter does not sell personal information or subscriber lists. It does not currently run programmatic advertising or use newsletter identity for cross-context behavioral advertising. If advertising practices materially change, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.

Information may be disclosed to service providers acting for LifeMeter, when a user directs the disclosure, to investigate abuse or protect rights and security, or when required by law. Sponsors do not receive calculator inputs, personalized results, or subscriber identities.

6. Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, operational continuity, dispute handling, security, or legal obligations. Active subscription records remain until withdrawal or removal; a minimal suppression record may be retained to ensure an address is not contacted again. Analytics and infrastructure logs follow configured retention periods and provider controls.

LifeMeter uses access restrictions, server-side secrets, signed links, and limited data collection to reduce risk. No system is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their devices and any result cards, downloads, or screenshots they create.

7. Your choices and requests

  • Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter to stop site-specific email.
  • Use browser controls or the Google Analytics opt-out tool to limit analytics cookies.
  • Request access, correction, deletion, or information about LifeMeter-held personal information by email. Identity verification may be required before acting on a request.
  • Residents of jurisdictions with additional privacy rights may exercise those rights without discriminatory treatment, subject to applicable exceptions.

Because calculator inputs are not stored by LifeMeter, there is ordinarily no server-side calculator record to retrieve or delete.

8. Children, transfers, and changes

LifeMeter is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the newsletter or contact channels. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. If a change requires new consent, LifeMeter will request it before using information for that new purpose.
