Interpretation and limits
HbA1c screening bands come from NIDDK; a screening-range result is not a diagnosis. Diagnosis usually requires confirmation, and pregnancy or conditions affecting hemoglobin can alter interpretation. Monitoring results need an individualized clinical target.
Triglyceride categories are shown for fasting adult samples. HDL is compared with the NHLBI sex-specific reference minimum; a higher value is not automatically better. ApoB, hs-CRP, insulin and VO2max remain recorded trends without an invented universal threshold.
Retesting depends on the marker, symptoms, diagnosis, medications and test conditions. The tool does not assign a fixed retest countdown. Bring unexpected changes to your clinician and use the laboratory’s units and reference information.
No biological-age years, survival probabilities or overall health score are calculated. Domain scores, where shown, describe progress toward an explicit guideline target. They are not calibrated risk predictions.
Sources and calculation details
Checked October 3, 2026. Absolute change is latest minus earlier. Percentage change divides by the absolute earlier value and is omitted for zero baselines. Activity uses moderate minutes plus twice vigorous minutes, divided by 150; strength uses days divided by two. Displayed target coverage is capped at 100% without implying extra activity lacks benefit. Dates describe records, not annualized rates.
